GOPELIA Metalworks was founded in 2019 by Carl Fuentes in Hialeah, Florida. What started as a lean fabrication operation has grown into a 16-person team handling full-scope metal packages for South Florida's most demanding projects - from boutique hotels on Miami Beach to luxury waterfront residences in Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne.

Every component is modeled and fabricated using digital templates to ensure fits within millimetres. Our certified welders follow stringent quality control procedures.
We collaborate closely with architects and designers to integrate lighting, glass, perforated panels or bespoke patterns into metalwork. Our facility can handle complex radius bends and mixed-material assemblies.
We strictly follow Florida Building Code load and opening requirements and verify height, spacing and load capacity. Our project management emphasizes onsite safety and risk mitigation.
Our metals contain high recycled content and are fully recyclable. Prefabrication and powder-coating reduce onsite waste and emissions. We aim to create long-lasting systems that minimize lifecycle costs.
We are licensed and insured and maintain active certifications for our welding procedures. GOPELIA is proud to contribute to Miami-Dade and South Florida's skyline through projects ranging from mid-rise hotels in Miami Beach to luxury residences across the region.
