Who We Are

This policy is issued by Matcon Construction LLC, doing business as GOPELIA Metalworks ("GOPELIA", "we", "us", "our"), a Florida limited liability company located at 740 W 26th St, Hialeah, FL 33010. Florida license CGC1530333.

Scope Of This Policy

This policy applies to:

• The gopelia.com website, including forms, analytics, and any content you submit to us through it.
• Information we receive from general contractors, owners, architects, vendors, applicants, and other business contacts in the ordinary course of estimating, fabricating, and installing metalwork.
• GOPELIA's internal accounting and reporting integrations, including our private QuickBooks Online integration described below.

This policy does not apply to third-party websites or platforms we link to, which are governed by their own privacy terms.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit a contact form, a quote request, or a certificate of insurance request, we collect the fields you complete. These typically include your name, company, email address, telephone number, project name, project address, and the details of your request. Forms on this site are processed by Formspree and delivered to GOPELIA by email.

Information collected automatically. When you visit gopelia.com, our hosting provider and analytics tools collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic measurement. This is described further under Cookies And Analytics.

Business and project information. In the course of doing business we hold contract documents, drawings, correspondence, purchase orders, invoices, payment records, lien notices, and related records. These may contain the names, titles, business email addresses, and business telephone numbers of individuals at our customers, vendors, and design partners.

Accounting information. Our own accounting records in QuickBooks Online contain customer, vendor, invoice, bill, and payment data belonging to GOPELIA.

What we do not intentionally collect through this website. We do not request Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, bank account numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through gopelia.com. Please do not submit those through our web forms.

How We Use Information

• To respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, issue proposals, and negotiate and perform contracts.
• To issue certificates of insurance and provide prequalification documents on request.
• To manage projects, procurement, scheduling, invoicing, and collections.
• To meet legal, tax, licensing, insurance, lien, and recordkeeping obligations, including Florida construction lien requirements.
• To operate, secure, measure, and improve gopelia.com.
• To evaluate candidates who apply to work with us.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through gopelia.com for third-party advertising or for training publicly available machine learning models.

QuickBooks Online Integration And Intuit Data

GOPELIA operates a private, internal-only integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online. It is not offered, sold, licensed, or made available to any other company, and it is not published on the QuickBooks App Store for general use.

• Whose data it accesses. Only the QuickBooks Online company file or files belonging to GOPELIA, connected by an authorized GOPELIA administrator.
• What it accesses. Accounting records needed for internal cash and receivables reporting, including invoices, bills, customers, vendors, balances, and profit and loss report data. The integration requests the QuickBooks accounting scope only.
• Why. To generate internal accounts receivable aging alerts, collections follow-up prompts, and periodic profit and loss and cash position summaries for GOPELIA management.
• Who can see the output. Authorized GOPELIA owners, managers, and accounting personnel, and our outside accounting and tax advisors under confidentiality obligations.
• How access is authorized. Through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Access and refresh tokens are held in the encrypted credential store of our workflow automation platform and are not embedded in workflow definitions or printed in reports.
• Retention. Retrieved records may persist temporarily in workflow execution logs and are removed under that platform's standard execution retention settings. Generated reports and alerts are retained in GOPELIA's business records systems under our normal retention practice.
• No onward sharing. QuickBooks data obtained through this integration is not sold, licensed, rented, disclosed for advertising, combined into any external data product, or used to train machine learning models.
• Disconnecting. An authorized GOPELIA administrator may revoke the connection at any time from within QuickBooks Online or from our automation platform. On revocation, tokens are deleted and no further data is retrieved.

Cookies And Analytics

gopelia.com uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site function and for aggregate analytics through Google Analytics 4. These help us understand which pages are viewed and how visitors reach the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the business:

• Service providers. Website hosting, form handling, analytics, email and productivity, workflow automation, project management, estimating, and accounting platforms that process data on our behalf.
• Professional advisors. Our insurance broker, outside accountants, and attorneys, as needed to issue certificates, close books, or protect our rights.
• Project participants. General contractors, owners, architects, engineers, suppliers, and inspectors, where disclosure is required to perform the work or to comply with contract or permitting requirements.
• Legal and safety. Government agencies, courts, or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to enforce a contract or lien.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and then for the periods required by contract, tax, insurance, licensing, warranty, statute of limitation, and Florida lien law. Records that are no longer needed are deleted or disposed of.

Data Security

We use access controls, account-level authentication, provider-managed encryption in transit, and vendor credential stores to protect information. Access to accounting systems and integration credentials is limited to authorized personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting personal information, we will respond as required by applicable law.

Your Choices And Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending you commercial email, by writing to the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law. Some information must be retained to meet legal, tax, insurance, or lien obligations, and those records cannot be deleted on request.

Children's Privacy

gopelia.com is a business-to-business site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Visitors Outside The United States

GOPELIA operates in the United States and our service providers are hosted in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
